A small exquisite collection presentation in the Alte Pinakothek: Elegance, Drama and Nature. With paintings from the 18th century, including Jean-Baptiste Pater (1695-1736), The Pleasures of Country Life, c. 1753. For me an inspiration to digitally create an Arcadian idyll.

Eine kleine exquisite Sammlungspräsentation in der Alten Pinakothek: Eleganz, Schauspiel und Natur. Mit Malerei aus dem 18. Jahrhundert, darunter Jean-Baptiste Pater (1695–1736), Die Freuden des Landlebens, um 1753. Für mich eine Anregung, digital ein arkadisches Idyll zu schaffen.

It is a longing for simplicity in a complex world.  Minimalism, which emerged in the mid-20th century, has lost none of its relevance for me. People often think of art as a representation of some aspect of the real world - a landscape, a person, an object - or as a reflection of an experience or a feeling. My paintings do not represent an external reality; rather, the viewer can respond to what they see in front of them.
