Parus Albert Schaeffer, Aegineten 1, 2022. Last day of the wonderful exhibition of the Spanish architect, engineer and artist Santiago Calatrava at the Munich Glyptothek. On view is a a fascinating dialogue between his works and the exhibits of the Glyptothek. For me, a stimulus to engage in my own way with the highlight of the Glyptothek, the sculptures of the Temple of Aegina. Letzter Tag der wunderbaren Ausstellung des spanischen Architekten, Ingenieurs und Künstlers Santiago Calatrava in der Münchner Glyptothek. Zu erleben ist ein faszinierender Dialog zwischen seinen Werken und den Exponaten der Glyptothek. Für mich eine Anregung, mich auf meine Weise mit dem Höhepunkt der Glyptothek, den Skulpturen des Tempels von Ägina, auseinanderzusetzen.  

Parus Albert Schaeffer, Tuscany 8, 2022. For me, Tuscany became even more of a place of longing during the pandemic than before. A place of longing that I also seek out through art, even on paths that are unusual for my works. Für mich ist die Toskana in der Zeit der Pandemie noch mehr als zuvor ein Sehnsuchtsort geworden. Ein Sehnsuchtsort, den ich auch durch die Kunst aufsuche, auch auf für meine Werke ungewohnten Wegen.

Collectors of NFTs own nothing but the fiction, authenticated in the blockchain, say the despiser of NFTs.  In the art world, there is often a tension between upholding tradition and embracing change. This tension can be seen in the way some people react to new art that challenges the status quo. When confronted with these challenges, some people hold onto traditional values and ideas about what art should be. In my opinon NFTs are a groundbreaking technology that allows to create digital art as unique objects. Thus is secured that there is only one original of each work - just as traditional works of art exist only once, even though countless reproductions may also exist. Parus Albert Schaeffer, Koh-i-Noor 1, 2022. The Koh-i-Noor diamond is one of the most well-known and prestigious jewels in the world. Originating in India, this stunning stone has become embroiled in a dispute between the British crown and various rival claimants. Although it changed hands many times over the centuries, it is said that this magnificent gem remains trapped inside the mountain from which it was first discovered, refusing to be claimed by any single person. They come into a physical reality as a unique print only at the request of the collector; the NFT is then deleted. Eine kleine exquisite Sammlungspräsentation in der Alten Pinakothek: Eleganz, Schauspiel und Natur. Mit Malerei aus dem 18. Jahrhundert, darunter Jean-Baptiste Pater (1695–1736), Die Freuden des Landlebens, um 1753. Für mich eine Anregung, digital ein arkadisches Idyll zu schaffen. Berlinde De Bruyckere, Arcangelo A spectacular sculpture by Berlinde de Brucykere in the newly renovated Diözesanmuseum Freising: Arcangelo, 2021-2022. A wonderful work of art in a wonderful museum. Worth a visit. Eine spektakuläre Skulptur von Berlinde de Brucykere im neu renovierten Diözesanmuseum  Freising: Arcangelo. Eine wunderbares Kunstwerk in einem wunderbaren Museum. Eine Reise wert.  

  Parus Albert Schaeffer, Color Fire 5, 2022. Color Fire. Color has long been used as a medium in art history. Color can be used to create mood, convey emotion, and set the tone of a piece. It can also be used to add visual interest, depth, and dimension. And, because every viewer perceives color differently, there is no “correct” way to use it.  Fire has also been used as a medium in art since the earliest times. The first known examples of this are cave paintings which were created by using torches. This technique was later refined by the Greeks who developed a range of shades by adding different chemicals to the flames. In my series "Color Fire" I combined the two mediums digitally.   Vincent im Exil. During the renovation of the Neue Pinakothek, the Munich Van Goghs are in exile in the Alte Pinakothek. Once again dismaying what wonderful pictures he painted and how desperate he was. Während der Renovierung der Neuen Pinakothek sind die Münchner Van Goghs im Exil in der Alten Pinakothek. Wieder einmal bestürzend, welch wunderbare Bilder er gemalt hat und wie verzweifelt er war.
