One of the art books that impressed me most recently ist "Franz Kafka, The drawings" (Yale University Press, 2022).  Kafka's drawings are often surreal, sometimes humorous, always with a touch of darkness. The drawings give us a rare insight into Kafka's creative process, as he often worked on them over a period of days or weeks, making changes and additions. "Beyond a certain point there is no return. This point has to be reached.” (The Zürau Aphorisms, 5). This aphorism by Kafka characterizes for me a core of art creation. That's why it's on the entry page of www.parus.work. The exhibition features a variety of Viola's installations, including three of his most iconic pieces: "The Path," "Night Vigil" and "The Raft." Viola is widely considered to be one of the leading figures in the field of video art, and his work has been featured in major museums and galleries around the world. His pieces often explore universal themes such as birth, death, and the human condition. I experienced on my visit at the exhibition something truly unique. Strong recommendation for a visit.
